According to reports, Cooperman’s net worth is estimated at about $2.6 billion. He is the founder of “Omega Advisors,” an investment fund company based in New York, which he transformed into a family office in 2018.

Last month saw the withdrawal of the Qatari investor alliance led by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani from the bid to purchase “Manchester United,” opening the door for British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe to ultimately become the majority owner of the prestigious club.

witnessing a 2.3% increase in Tuesday’s trading session.
