Revenue: $46.74 billion vs. $46.06 billion expected.

The company said it expects current-quarter revenue of $54 billion with a ±2% margin, compared to analysts’ estimates of $53.1 billion, excluding any potential sales of H20 chips in China.

Nvidia’s total revenue jumped 56% in Q2 2026, driven primarily by its data center business, which alone generated $41.1 billion. The company explained that major cloud service providers account for about half of this segment, with strong demand continuing for the latest Blackwell chips, whose sales rose 17% compared to the previous quarter.

The gaming division posted $4.3 billion in revenue, up 49% from the same period last year, with plans to optimize GPUs to support running OpenAI models on personal computers.

Net income rose 59% to $25.78 billion compared to $16.6 billion in the same period of 2025.

Nvidia noted it recorded no H20 chip sales to China during the quarter but released $180 million in inventory for a customer outside China. The company confirmed the chip cost it $4.5 billion in impairment charges, and would have added $8 billion to sales had it been commercially available. Despite these record results, the company’s stock declined in after-hours trading.
